One of my most controversial comics ever, the goal here was to respond to hate I get every year from “Real Irish” who have largely abandoned their Catholic roots while so many in the Irish Diaspora work passionately to maintain them. Of course, how did they respond? By shouting that I’m not “Real Irish.” Predictable.

So, to drive my point home, I made an alternative version. They just spouted more hate.

Finally, I decided to point out that all the traits the world hates so much about Americans are the traditional Irish traits.
