The life of our family was forever changed on May 26, 2020. Expecting the birth of our 6th child mere hours after a marathon of early morning intrauterine hiccups, we arrived at the hospital only to find that our sweet Margaret Clare’s heart had failed her. Her almond eyes, her wrinkled hands, and feet, her low-set ears, the features of her condition were unmistakable. Even before we could hold her in our arms, unforeseen Down Syndrome had taken her from us. We love you, our little Maggie, and we long to see you again in God’s glory.
